Yes. You can redeem a gift card yourself or give it to someone else.

You can purchase as many gift cards as you like. Each eligible Pro account can claim a free 3-month gift card once.
Can I claim a free 3-month gift card after upgrading to an annual plan?
Yes. After upgrading to an annual plan, whether through a gift card or another payment method, you can claim a free 3-month gift card here. You can use it yourself or give it to a friend. Each account can claim this gift once.
Can I redeem a gift card if I already have a plan?
Yes. Your membership expiration date will be extended.
Is there an expiration date for the gift card?
Gift codes do not expire, but we recommend redeeming yours when you receive it.
