Efficient Learning Made Easy with “Article Outline”

When reading a book, the table of contents can help us quickly understand the context and logical framework of the whole book. Even when faced with a thick book, we can still distill knowledge or go straight to the point with the help of a table of contents.

But when we read some long and profound articles on the screen, we seem to have less patience with reading. We often save those articles into our exclusive collection for them too long to read or too hard to understand, and subconsciously tell ourselves we will read them later when we have time. But will you read them later? Or will you resist opening up because you are afraid of getting lost again?

Actually, it’s not hard to read and distill knowledge in a long article on the internet, it is just like reading a book with a table of contents. You can select your favorite part instead of reading from the beginning to the end. You can skip the article since you read the outline. And you can even review the article without the process of linear reading.

The function that realizes all the above is Cubox’s newly launched “Article Outline” function, which will provide you with a more flexible reading experience. No matter whether the original webpage you collected provides an outline, as long as the content uses standard paragraph headings, you can view the outline in Cubox, and click to jump.

No configuration is required, the update can be used directly. After opening an article in the app, if a directory icon appears in the upper left corner of the reader, it means that the article has an outline structure, and you can click to view it. And you can click on any node in the outline to jump to the corresponding paragraph position.

In the web version and Windows version, the outline of the article will be automatically displayed on the left side of the reader, and you can choose to display it permanently or hide it by default according to your reading habits. Paragraph hierarchy will be clearly displayed with different lengths on the left.
